Uranium Teeth, Set "L"

These teeth were likely produced in the 1940-50’s. You will get the exact set pictured.

Teeth shine under 365nm UV light, not the more common 395nm. This is due to being mixed with porcelain powder causing the uranium to respond under specific wavelengths.

Uranium was used to imitate the way teeth react under different types of light, and had the advantage of not losing fluorescence with the high heat needed to cure porcelain. It’s use was discontinued in the 1980’s.
